Who's in the Studio?...

It's a new year, and for a lot of artists, it's time to make some new music.  Here is just a few bands that have went back into the studio in the last month.

After touring since the release of last year's Lucky StreetGo Radio head back into the studio starting...today! Fans can expect a new full length album off of Fearless Records later in the year.

Converge hit the studio to record their eighth full length album.  The album will be produced again by their guitarist, Kurt Ballou.  The band is recording at Godcity Studios in their hometown of Salem, Massachusetts.  Epitaph/Deathwish Inc. are pushing for a September release.

Both  The Spill Canvas and Miss May I put up video posts recently about their recording experiences.

Hot Water Music headed to Colorado's Blasting Room Studios to start recording finally.  The band has not released an album since 2004's The New What Next.  This will also be the band's first on Rise Records.

From the sounds of a recent video update, For All Those Sleeping's second album sounds pretty decent.  As long as the guys don't goof around too much, their second full length can be expected this summer.

Pre-production is done for The Gaslight Anthem's fourth full length.  The band is currently working in Nashville Tennessee on their first record for Mercury Records.

TesseracT have announced they are working on an acoustic E.P.. It will be released in the spring time and will sport the vocals of newest member Elliott Coleman.

Lastly, starting next month, Senses Fail will begin writing for their new album.  It will be their follow up to The Fire from 2010.
